Responsible Tourism is a type of tourism that seeks to minimize the negative social and environmental impacts of travel, generating more economic opportunities for the local community while preserving their culture.

Project Authentic is a Responsible Tourism project launched by Authenticity Travel in partnership with Cooperative La Voz. Together, we seek to implement an alternative to conventional tourism in Lake Atitlán in which visitors can delve into the local culture while ensuring that the local community has voice and participation in those experiences.
